The Burgee Sailing Club is a fictitious yacht club created to show off the Burgee race-management plugin. Everything you see — the schedule, the fleet, the scoring and standings — is the real plugin running on a stock WordPress site, populated with believable demo data that rolls forward week to week.
Our racing
We run a 14-week Wednesday Night Series split into a Spring Cup and a Summer Cup, plus a pair of weekend regattas for the Commodore’s Cup. Three divisions — Spinnaker, Jib & Main, and Cruising — race under PHRF handicap on time-on-distance.
This is a demo. The boats, skippers and results are invented, and no email is ever actually sent. Want the real thing for your club? That’s what Burgee is for.
