How membership and race registration work.

In a real Burgee-powered club, this is where you’d explain membership and point sailors at registration. For this demo, “joining” just means adding a boat to a season’s scratch sheet in the Burgee admin.

How registration works in Burgee

  • Add a boat once (name, type, owner, default sail number and PHRF).
  • Register that boat into a Racing Series for the season, assigning its division.
  • The boat now appears on the scratch sheet and is eligible for scoring in every race of that series.
